Teaching, Mentoring and Outreach Experience

Teaching: designed and taught university course on the morphology, systematics and diversity of mollusks (4th year of the Moscow State University, Major zoology), 2008, 2012-2014.

Mentoring: supervised two MS students of the Moscow State University, and co-supervised 2 PhD students of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution (Sofya Zvonareva – 2013-2016 and Varvara Barkalova 2015-2016; main advisor Dr. Yuri Kantor). Supervised one postdoc, 2019-2020.

Outreach activities: 2016-2017. Participate in the University of Utah outreach program in Bohol (the Philippines). The program engages high school students into educational research projects aiming at development of scientific thinking, raising appreciation and awareness of treats to marine biodiversity.
